For hybrid and virtual-only events! Livestreams are super popular and provide a lot of advantages. But sometimes it's not so easy to structure them or create the perfect program flow. A "Run-of-show-document" is the tool you need to structure your livestream program and to know exactly what will happen and when. For this purpose we created a basic template which can also be used for hybrid events if needed. In a live stream all attendees will watch a live stream which is showing the show. Speakers and hosts usually are in a different space (that we call backstage) which is then presented on the main stage via this broadcast mode. This mode is recommended for larger events. To configure the livestream, you need to go to the Main Stage section in the cockpit. Yes, when creating and editing a room simply copy the url of the stream that you are using and add it as an app, choosing “Video player” as the app type. This way it looks the same for every attendee regardless if they are in the main stage or a streaming room.Few readersWhat is the mini player for?
If your event is configured with a live stream, as a host you can enable your attendees to activate a “mini player” allowing them to watch the main stage while navigating in the rest of the platform, for example being inside a room.Few readersHow to configure the mini player?
