Can I add a virtual background on a call?

Yes, you can add a virtual background in our video tool by default Jitsi!

Once you join the call just hover your mouse over the video and click on the three dots so you can choose Select Background:

After, you are presented with the option to either add your own background or select one already provided from the list:

Most times it is not possible for speakers and moderators to add a virtual background through the backstage for a livestream. For these cases we suggest using a 3rd party tool to create a virtual camera that can then be used inside Virtual Events for these situations.
