13. Broadcasts

Modified on Mon, 22 Apr at 10:39 AM

Sending broadcast messages to your attendees can be a very good way to drive actions from your audience and to inform. For how to do so continue reading.

You can for example define a welcome message, inform about activities going on in other places, promote your sponsors, forward your attendees to other locations of the event like a specific room or networking area, and much more.

You can do that by creating a message in the broadcast section of the navigation bar. Please check the videos below for more clarification and tips.

Some key features available with the broadcast messages:

  • Prepare all broadcast messages by setting them as drafts.
  • Schedule broadcast messages to be sent at a specific time.
  • Set the duration for which broadcast messages are visible to attendees..
  • Welcome your attendees with a broadcast message by setting a long duration on your message and a scheduled time (for example scheduled to 10:00 and a duration of 3600 seconds, making the message visible to all attendees that connect between 10:00 and 11:00).

The broadcast messages can be configured with rich text, which allows you to create more interesting content to your audience. Also, you can play videos on the broadcast messages (for example to promote sponsors or to show a preview of a live stream) and also add action buttons to your messages to engage with the participants and drive them to other locations of the event (like for example to tell users to join the main stage with the direct button or the networking area once the time for networking has started).
