How to set the main stage live and turn it off?

In case you have a main stage with a live stream, you need to set it as live on the app once your stream is up and running. You can do that directly from the application on the Main Stage pane

or in the cockpit under the category Main Stage,

Please note that it can take up to some seconds to have the stream being played to all users. We strongly recommend that you follow this order when going live:

Set your livestream to a splash screen or small welcome video
Go live on your streaming tool (like StreamWorks or OBS/Wirecast)
Go live on event
Add a count down on your stream
Start your show!

Usually there are some seconds of delay between your stream and what the participants are watching, so when turning off your stream, give some seconds after the show has ended with a splash screen until you really turn it off on Virtual Events as well, otherwise your attendees may miss part of the show.
