To invite guests using RSVP you can add users to the Attendees List with the status "Pre-registered".
Usually you will use the "Import guest list" function to add a whole list of guests using a csv list with the value ""Pre-Registered" in the column "status".

In an invitation e-mail you can then use the personalised variables {{rsvp_accept_link}} and {{rsvp_decline_link}}.
To make it look good, you can also use buttons, like so.
To make it look good, you can also use buttons, like so.

Clicking the "Yes" {{rsvp_accept_link}}, the user will land on the registration form. After successfully submitting the input, the status of the user is set to "Registered" in the Attendees list.
When a user clicks the "No" {{rsvp_decline_link}}, the status of the user is set to "Declined" in the Attendees list.
Coming back to the initial RSVP e-mail, a user can still change this status by clicking on the according button.
When a user clicks the "No" {{rsvp_decline_link}}, the status of the user is set to "Declined" in the Attendees list.

As a host you can now clearly see, who has accepted or declined the RSVP.
Users that still have the "Pre-registered" status in the Attendees list, have not reacted to the RSVP, so you can filter the list by "Pre-registered" and send an RSVP reminder based on that.
